The Website Build

A business website you own outright, with a form that actually reaches you.

Up to five pages, built and deployed on a domain registered in your name. Before launch, we send a test inquiry through the form and watch it land in your inbox. Then it's yours, files and logins included.

Rather talk it through? Call us at (770) 649-3525.

Tell us about the site. We'll tell you if it fits.

Three fields, about two minutes. The reply comes from us, and we're the ones who'd build it.

A few sentences is plenty. Include the current web address if there is one, and roughly how many pages you need. Rather talk first? Say so and we'll suggest a time.

Goes straight to our inbox, not a ticket queue. We reply within one business day.

Please leave out passwords, keys and employees' personal details.

Who it's for

Your website went up a few years ago, and it shows, especially on a phone. Maybe the developer moved on and the logins went with them. Maybe every small change means an email to an agency and a two-week wait. And somewhere in all that sits a contact form that may or may not be reaching anyone.

This is for owners and office managers at businesses of about 5 to 100 people who want a quick, solid site that belongs to them when it's done.

What $3,500 buys

Up to five pages. Usually that's home, services, about and contact, plus one more you choose. Each page is built to load quickly and read properly on a phone, then deployed with a security certificate that renews itself.

The domain sits in a registrar account in your name. On a rebuild, your old page addresses get redirected, so existing links and bookmarks still land somewhere useful. The contact form gets wired to your inbox, or straight into your CRM when that's part of the scope. At the end you get the files and every login.

You supply the words and pictures. Rough notes are fine; I'll arrange them and tidy them lightly. Writing copy from scratch, logos and branding, online stores and web applications sit outside this package. Custom applications are real work we do, quoted separately.

A site that's clearly smaller or bigger than usual gets quoted between $3,000 and $4,500, in writing, before you commit. Extra pages and changes after sign-off run $80 to $100 an hour, quoted before I start.

How it works

First comes a page plan and an acceptance checklist, written down and agreed before anything gets built. The checklist is the finish line. It says which pages exist, what each one has to do, and how we'll both know it works.

Then I build it on a staging address you can click through on your own phone. Old addresses get mapped to new ones. Before launch, a test inquiry goes through the live form and we watch it arrive.

Payment is half when you accept the scope in writing, and half when the site passes its checklist.

Done means it passes

Every agreed page displays properly on current phone and desktop browsers. A test inquiry reaches the inbox you named. The certificate is valid and set to renew. Old addresses redirect. And each agreed page scores 90 or better on Google's mobile performance test.

That last number measures speed. It isn't a promise about search rankings or sales, and I'd be wary of anyone who sells you one.

If it misses

A site that fails the checklist gets one fix from me at no charge, up to 2 hours of work inside the original scope, then a retest. Still failing? You choose a partial refund or a credit worth 10% of the fee, up to $350. I'd rather put a number on it than promise something vague.

Yours, all of it

The domain is registered in your name, on your account, with your billing. I'll help set it up and take delegated access to do the work, but I won't hold it for you. That arrangement ends badly for clients often enough that I won't take part in it.

Some website subscriptions keep the site when you stop paying. This works the other way round: you pay once for the build, and the site is yours whether or not we ever host it.

Hosting, if you want it

Hosting is optional. At $49 a month, month to month, it covers everything in our Website Hosting service, plus up to 30 minutes of small edits each month. Want to move elsewhere later? You leave with the files, the database and the configuration, and I'll help the next host get it running.

Who builds it

Chrysis Networks is a solo automation firm, and the person planning your site is the one building it. Want to see the work? This site and privatecompass.app, the product site for our Compass finance app, are both built and run by us. Neither is client work. Both are live, so open them on your phone and judge for yourself.

The rest of what we do is automation, so we care a great deal about what happens after someone presses Send.

Send us the address of the site you've got.

Or a sentence about the one you need. You'll get a straight answer on fit from the firm that would build it.
